Sonic the Hedgehog was now able to walk through the enormous palace without fear. He was one of them now. He'd gaze up at all the slumbering drones and smile. He couldn't wait for them to wake so that he could meet them all.
He held onto Shadow's arm as they walked through the moonlit corridors, looking for the others, listening to his husband summarize the rest of his past.
Shadow went on to tell his wife about how Gerald had a hard time getting the vampire pup out of the tree that morning because the man was human (his mother had COMPLETELY forgotten to mention that). After some time, the young prince went on to live with Gerald and his g
Flashback...
The pounding of horse hooves against the frozen forest floor drowned out the sound of the dogs and the people pursuing her as Raven swiftly rode deeper and deeper into the wilderness. Shadow gripped onto his mother tighter and clenched his eyes shut, wanting this all to be a bad dream. The innocent child cried softly as his brother's final word echoed through his head.
'SHADOOOWWW!!!!' He would never see Mephiles again.
Every now and then, as they rode on, Raven would not only get a glimpse of her little one to make sure that he was alright, but she tried to brand into her mind the final glimpses of her beloved child before s
"I apologize for that brief interruption, my dear," said the Alpha once the door closed.
"There's no need to apologize, Shadow," Sonic replied, blushing slightly for being called his 'dear'. "Silver needed your help and you knew exactly what to do. That was very kind of you on your part."
Shadow smiled and went to sit on top of the office desk instead of in the leather chair, placing one leg atop the other. The wine bottle filled with the red liquid caught his attention. Holding the bottle in his claws, he glanced over at Sonic before corking it and setting it aside. He could tell it made him uncomfortable.
"My brother would have my head i
Sonic the Hedgehog soon found himself searching all over for where he'd been last night. He'd searched all day, actually; only to come across the area as the sun was beginning to set. But, he wasn't about to stop now. He wanted to get to the bottom of this and he wanted some answers from the king himself.
As the evening drew closer, the moon started to rise and could still be seen in the sunlit sky as the hedgehog traveled across unknown land. Sonic could feel the fur stand on the back of his neck, and immediately afterwards, he could hear three individual sonic booms.
"What up, Blue?" Scourge smirked, appearing to the right of him in secon
"TAILS!!!" Sonic shouted, bursting into Tail's workshop.
"GAH!!" Tails jumped with surprise, hitting his head underneath the Tornado since he was giving it new upgrades.
"Darn it, Sonic, will you stop doing that!?" the kitsune shouted, sliding from underneath the plane and rubbing his head.
"Oops, sorry bro," Sonic apologized as he help the fox stand.
"Oww, I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't end up with a brain hemorrhage because of you," he groaned, rubbing the sore area even more.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm sorry," he said quickly. "Listen, what do you know about vampires?"
Tails blinked. "Vampires? What the heck do you want to know abou
"You will in due time, my love."
Sonic the Hedgehog woke up in a cold sweat. He panted, looking around frantically. When he saw that he was still in his bedroom, he sighed with relief.
'What the heck was that all about?' he thought, getting his breathing back under control, running his gloveless fingers through his quills.
"Ugh," he groaned when he saw that not only was he dripping with sweat, but his bed was soaked, too. He cast a glance over to his bedroom window and could see the sun just starting to rise. He looked back at his clock, which read 6:12 a.m.
"Darn dream," he grumbled because once he's awake, there's no use in trying to ge
Sonic the Hedgehog soon found himself having the best night of his life! Never before had there been anyone out there that could give him a real run for his money in a race! And now, he just so happen to be racing against three!
They'd all hit supersonic speeds a little while back, with Scourge and Sonic in the lead. Heck, if he didn't know any better, he'd say they were all his clones only with different fur. He loved every minute of the adrenaline rush that he was getting and the cool night air slicing through his quills. He could see the smirks on their faces as well. They were enjoying it too. 'Where have they been all my life

Sonic took a deep breath and made the decision that would change his life forever.
"Alright, I'll go."
"Excellent," Scourge sneered, flashing his white fangs that made Sonic cringe. The other vampires looked utterly disappointed. So, they all departed to go forth into the night to find their next victims to quench their never-ending thirst.
"The palace is at least two nights' journey from here, but we should arrive in no time if we run," Scourge added. "But before we go," he grabbed a handful of Sonic's chest fur and pulled him close, making Sonic wince in pain.
"Vampires can read minds, just to let you know. So if I catch e
Later on that night
Sonic was running down the streets to pass the time. There had been tons of news going around about the people disappearing all of a sudden over the past two months. Even though he knew about it, he still wanted to have a relaxing run before he turned in for the night. The cool wind whipped through his fur as he continued on, speeding up. Once he was satisfied, he slowed down to a brisk jog and then he stopped running altogether. He turned a corner and started for home when he heard the sound of shattering glass and loud annoying alarms sounded from within the city museum.
Sonic's ears perked up immediately at the
Mobius. Birthplace and humble home of the fastest thing alive. That said fastest thing alive, aka Sonic the Hedgehog, was currently dodging blasts from a large robot created by none other than Dr. Eggman. And as always, Eggman was having a hard time trying to get his hands on the blue blur.
"Grr, curse you, hedgehog!!" he shouted in frustration. "Sit still long enough so that I can blast you!!"
"Ha!" Sonic laughed, making light of the dangerous situation he currently found himself in. "Not gonna happen, Egghead! I'm never in one spot for too long!!" he shouted cockily as always, zigzagging through the streets of Station Square, leaving onl
